Berrima B800P

The B800P is an 8 metre V Roller-bar hay rake developed with the capability of parallel raking. This was specifically designed for turning two windrows at a time yet still maintaining the same distance between the windrows. This is usually ideal in cases where 16 or 18ft mowers have been used and two windrows raked together would be too large for most balers but by turning   them increases drying time and leaves the optimum windrow size for the baler but best of all raking time is halved! The same adjustments to the rake can still be made automatically to suit windrow centres or for placement of turned hay.
The standard B800 comes with one left and right basket, another left basket is needed so that when the right basket is removed the rake can be fitted with two left baskets allowing the parallel function to be possible. To set the machine up in this configuration only takes approximately 20 minutes and can be adapted to older machines that did not come standard with this feature.
With larger growers it is sometimes more economical (due to productivity) to purchase a second machine, then a spare basket is not required and the respective baskets are swapped on each machine utilizing all four baskets.
